More than 5,000 works of art, primarily modern and contemporary pieces from post-1940, can be found in six permanent and temporary exhibition spaces at the Weatherspoon Art Museum. Other significant collections include the Leonard C. Wright Collection of Japanese prints from the 18th through 20th century and the Claribel and Etta Cone Collection of Matisse prints and other works. The museum is located on the southeastern corner of the University of North Carolina - Greensboro campus.
