Featuring interactive exhibits designed to please kids from toddlers to ten, Greensboro Children's Museum provides an array of terrific learning stations, allowing children to participate in simulated activities geared toward their own specific interests and age groups. Kids can shop for groceries or run the working cash register in the elaborately stocked Market exhibit, stage performances, try on costumes or work the sound booth in The Theater, drive a fire truck or land a DC-9 jet in the Transportation Gallery, or plant and harvest real vegetables in the fabulous Learning Garden. This colorful museum is conveniently located in downtown Greensboro, directly across the street from the Central Library.
