I have been to Saffron twice sine I moved to Greensboro a couple of months ago. First time I went for dinner, the food was good and tasty but not unique in any way. The service was a little too aggressive but all in all it was a good experience. Two weeks ago , I went with my co-workers there for their lunch Buffet and I absolutely loved it! Saffron by far has the best Indian Buffet I have ever been to ( and I have been to MANY). The food is delicious, very clean and organized not messy as it gets in other Indian buffets. There was a large variety of dishes and it was all presented really and looked appetizing. The wait staff was quick but not pushy during lunch and it was a very reasonable cost, for three of us we paid 25 dollars and left very full and extremely satisfied.

Saffron is the Lexus of Indian Restaurants in Greensboro. Their lunch buffet is not to be missed

The food here is great, they have a large menu with lots of choices. We like vegetable somosas as an appetizer. At dinner, if it's busy service can suffer. I suggest going at off times or at lunch. They have a great buffet at lunch (no buffet at dinner.) Lunch buffet choices change regularly. Interior is brand new and decorated nicely in an Indian theme. If it's too busy, try Taste of Thai a few doors down or Casaldi's Cafe (Italian) around the corner.
